| Purpose |
The intent of CRSS |
| |
The CRSS specification provides you or your company a place to insert company information and/or disclaimers.
Usually many of us write a disclaimer of some kind, or perhaps your blog publishing tool or website does.
Now there is a place to insert it, so that aggregators and consumers of feeds can readily see it when simply subscribed to your feed.
Also the intent is to make company blogging a little more formal and likeable to suit those companies who think that its not something for them, and/or aid a company getting a little more structure and boost into their employee company blogs.
By allowing them to
- Provide Company Details such as Name and Contact Information
- Offer a Company disclaimer via text and link to full formal disclaimer
- Link to Company Website and specify details about the company
- Link to Official Company Feeds (other company bloggers, or departments), via OPML
