This month, Lucid Ocean, has proudly brought our new website online, which is not only fantastic news for us, but good news for all our customers, as we intend to provide the CMS as a complete solution. A better looking website is just the start, after all that is not the prime reason why people go to websites. People visit sites because it has something to say to them. That is why, we have created a website, that different people in our organization, all with differing skills in computing, can login and add content. The system is controlled by security groups and settings as well as different process mechanisms, for example: documents go through a life-cycle of Status Draft through to Published and Online. With the features we have built in, we can provide you with a quality website, which will save us time and effort during the updating and content creation stages. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) The website also has RSS Feeds which incorporates various RSS Extensions, including our own CRSS, and others like Yahoo Media and Dublin Core. The RSS support is integral in this system, as everything you see, can be fed through a Feed. All the content can be imported and exported all using standard RSS and well-known extensions. This of course allows us to quickly create blogs. SiteMap Support We can easily add Custom Pages and Menus within the system. In a few clicks, we can configure menus and content.
