Overview
Matrix e-Business contacted Lucid Ocean to design and develop the News Management system and website for the Isle of Wight County Press. Lucid Ocean accepted the challenge and succeeded in building the system over a period of 6 weeks. The public content side, features News, news in categories, news in search, custom page areas (features, infodesk), search facility, images, rss feeds, a mobile device version of latest news and more.
The Adminsitration side allows for the management and creation of News. The News is added in an Offline state, and then published to the website using web based back-end to the website.
The back-end features Banner Advertising Management, Custom Pages and menus, News, Categories and Media upload.
