Just another Grey Day Tuesday

One of the repetitive themes in software development is a "Grey Day", or a "Pub Day". (probably true of many professions and indeed of life)
The day when absolutely nothing works out. A day, when everything can, and indeed does, go wrong.

So far, a function that has worked countless time over weeks and weeks of execution fails.
Debugging and Debugging reveals little clue.

Duplicate rows in another app, causes havoc, as its unnoticed for an hour or more.

Dev Server hangs twice.

Our live version of LanP3 suddenly fails to index tracks, and I already had the ftp open to upload it. upload postponed)

Internet connection down once (luckily only for a while)

I had to write this twice, cause the first time, it crashed IE and I lost whatever I typed earlier.

and causes a bit of panic as well, as it behaves in peculiar ways today of all days.

My machine has been reset twice already, there is going to be a 3rd and 4th occasion, I can feel it.

But the weather is looking damn fine :)
